About "Mountain Village" (April 2011)

This initial version of “Mountain Village” was painted during October 2004—and was my first
attempt at painting.  The desire to paint came from my dear aunt, who was an accomplished artist.  The inspiration for this image came from a photograph supplied by my art instructor.  While I may not win any contests with this piece, I sure wouldn’t mind living in this nice
little village!
