About "Gift of Light" (December 2011) I know—you want to know what the image is.  An angel?  The spirit of the Christ child arriving on Earth? A Christmas Tree with a bright shiny star on top?  Or perhaps all three! Regardless, the image started with a partially exposed negative at the end of a roll of film.  Adobe Photoshop was used to stretch it, wrap it in plastic, circularize it, bend it, brighten the colour, and create the shiny star!
