The Wall of Honor ... contains my Dad's medals ... many were awarded as a result of
his heroic actions on January 14, 1969 ... the day the USS Enterprise (CVAN-65) was
ravaged by explosives and fire while on training exercises off of Hawai'i ... just before
returning to duty in the Tonkin Gulf (Vietnam).
