About "Joy and Peace"
At some undetermined point in time, a very interesting object came into my life.  It is made out of metal, gold-colored, is six inches in diameter, and resembles an abstract-looking star.  I was never quite sure what to do with it—but I knew that I wanted to incorporate it into some sort of art project.  Since its mysterious appearance, it has been peacefully sitting on the windowsill in my office.  I've looked at it every morning for the past few years—still wondering what to do with it.  Several months ago,  I decided to place it on my scanner—and now it has found its way onto this holiday card.  Adobe Photoshop was used to modify the image.
