The Little Box—Introduction

This very short story was created as a gift to a dear friend who was a fellow Stephen Minister at my church.  She played a critical part in my healing after the separation from my daughters.  Three years later, the U.S. Navy decided to ship her and her husband off to San Diego, CA.  The finished product was presented to her at the going away party.  The story and the prayer included at the end of the piece was read to her in front of the Stephen Minister group.  I am, of course, the Little Box.
