Mom's Amazing Coca-Cola Cake—

Who ever heard of putting Coca-Cola into a cake?  Evidently somebody did—because my Mom stumbled upon this totally amazing recipe that calls for half a can of Coke to be incorporated into the cake batter and the other half can of Coke to be mixed into the frosting.  So—if you're a lover of coffee, Coke, and all things chocolate—you are gonna love this creation!  Over the years, it is the birthday cake most often requested by members of my family!  Everyone always agrees with the choice!
